Anyone having any problems with retuning their Freeview LCD TV? Getting all the BBC channels and Radio a#but nothing else. Have good backup from supplier but have to try early morning or very late at ight when signil is strongest. Perhaps there is something I'm missing, Embarassed

I think the BBC channels tend to be transmitted at higher power that others so its probably just that you are in a fringe reception area and need a better aerial.

Make sure you chose the "new installation/delete all current channels" installation rather than "search for new" option.

I have phoned John Lewis help desk and yesterday they said thy would send someone out, today the guy said try it somewhere else in the house. Am disappointed to say the least, considering that a higher co-axial cable will help, the silver crest indoor areial I posted about works on an old old set -maybe this would work better than the one in the loft. we have upside down house so will bring it up later and see if that makes a difference.

We have taken the tv back, and got refund. Might seem silly but could not get any analogue at all, and BBC was ok but did not realise the itv channels were not up till April. Do we need a special aerial to receive freeview. Will get separate tv and freeview box.

Mendipman you have probably explained for many of us.

I was out in N. Somerset/Wiltshire in the last 10 days and had same problem as 'ambegayo' on ITV etc.

The changeover was advertised but, as far as I know, not the differential dates between BBC and ITV.

Thanks

Geoff
