California Exclusive battery

Hello,

The battery on my California Exclusive has died. I am thinking of replacing it with an Elecsol 220ah battery (the same dimensions) and adding solar panels later in the year.
Does anyone know if there will be any problems with this? Will the control panel work O.K. with a battery that is not the same spec as the one originally fitted?
