Hello all,
I’m considering purchasing a 1990 VW camper (LT35) which has a new, current MOT but apparently may have a slight fuel pump leak. I’ve done some research online which is suggesting this could cost anywhere between £100-£500 to fix/replace. Can anyone give me advice on this please? (assume zero mechanical knowledge, so I will have to have it done at a garage)...
Thanks!

If it is an intank pump could be expensive. If an electric pump can be fitted else where the cost come down. If it can draw fuel though the tank pump.

An electric pump was around £30/£50 plus fitting.

All depends where its leaking from, some o rings and seals can be changed if you really know what your doing, best bet is try and find out exactly where the fuel is leaking from and phone a diesel specialist not the main dealer.
PS don't let inkey-2008 fix it Rolling Eyes
