lake bled to split in a day? Is it possible

Hi we are leaving lake Bled first weekend in August and we have to travel to a Croatian resort near an airport and Split has been recommended? Is it possible to do this on the first Sunday in AUgust in a day?

If not does anyone have recommendations of a resort nearby an airport in Croatia, We have to be at a beach and we have surprise visitors flying out to us so that is why the airport is necessary.We require a beach campsite but not a super expensive noisy site.
