We bought one about a year ago this month and we are really pleased with it.
Having all the features built in means there isn't any need for additional accessories such as a DVD player so the tv cupboard is a lot tidier!
Our main reason for choosing this particular tv is that the viewing angle is really good. On our old LCD tv there were always dark patches when we looked at it from the side but the picture with the pyramid is really good.
We initially looked for an Avtex but due to the dimensions we wouldn't have been able to fit it into the tv cupboard and be able to close the door around it. The pyramid just about fits in.
We bought a 19" Pyramid TV/DVD at the Newark show to replace our Tesco's 19", which was mains only and quite power hungry, especially with an inverter.
Contrary to Ian, we are disappointed with the viewing angle, unless you are looking almost straight at the screen, it goes black.
We had the same issue with regards to the size of TV to fit the cupboard, also from which side the DVD loaded, which was the main reason for buying it. It works fine from the 12v plug, although we do use a amperor stabiliser. The menu and EPG are easy to use and the sound is the usual for this type of TV. I would check the viewing angle if you can, it may be better on the smaller screen, but for us it lets down an otherwise decent telly.

It seems odd doesn't it to have two opinions of a product with such differing views on an important aspect such as the viewing angle?
Not really, most of these TVs offered as specifically suitable for camping use are simply "badged" imports (probably from China) and the company who made the screen for the 19" model was probably unrelated to the company who supplied the screen for the 15". In fact the two TVs may be from entirely different manufacturers. Indeed it's quite possible that a 19" set bought today may be from a different maker than the 19" bought a year ago although they may look identical and have the same brand.
The only thing that surprises me is the price they seem to be able to charge for them just because they're selling to a specialist leisure market. My advice would be to go to Currys or Tesco and save some money.

We had a 15" Pyramid installed when we bought the M/H. Initially we had the same problem as Camoboy with screen being partially black unless looking directly at it but my wife did some fine tuning and its as good as gold.
I haven't tried the DVD part yet but there is a slot on the right hand slide towards the top that I thought was for putting in the SKY card. Its not!!! The card fell right inside and I had to remove the back to recover it. What a dumb b*gger.
Trouble being I never got the manual for the TV so its trial by error.
