Have just noticed that the narrow heating duct/tube which runs from the vent in the washroom into the under bed locker, underneath the bed, along the length of the rear wall, and the offside wall, above the external locker door, before terminating in a dead end is punctuated for the whole length with cuts on a fairly regular basis on the top of the tube. At first I though it had been damaged, but I wonder if the intention is to heat the bed as I can see no reason otherwise for it's existence! Anyone found similar or can shed any light on this?

Thats the 20mm "winter heating Duct" as used in the older vans and now carried over to new vans, ours runs throughout the van even inti the cassette toiliet area Surprised its to provide allround warmth and no cold spots for condensation. Dowt if swift use it

If you find it gets too hot just cover every other slit with Duct tape, we have and find no problem even in cold -16c winters.
