Arrived at Golden Cap site in dorset last Friday. Turned on tv to watch the England match, as a precaution, I retuned the VisionPlus TV. No problems, 52 channels detected!

However, on Saturday the dreaded 'no signal' appeared and failed to return for the rest of our stay.

The booster box says 'teleco AT36' presumably it is at Teleco Teleplus aerial and not a Status 530 as I thought although this static aerial seems to be an equivalent at about half the price.

Can anybody explain the signal dying overnight?

What are the thoughts on the aerial, should I think about alternatives?

did you try the analog signal? its a good way of checking the aerial and a rough idea of the signal strength.... if you got some sort of picture its a good bet that the main transmitter was not working on dtv or indeed put onto low power for engineering work... which can happen and thuss you lost the dtv picture...

Hi Clive

Retuned the Tv countless times. Did try 'initial setup' which searches for analogue signals. Nothing appeared however. did check 'digitalUK' as did other campers who couldn't get a signal. It suggests that DTV is switched on.
