In view of the stated intention of Lunar to concentrate on caravan manufacture at the expense of motorhomes badged as Lunar, might I ask that Homecar, who built a lot of the Lunar range and continue to support The H brand be allowed a listing as a manufacturer?.

Incidentally, I was told that a prominent (ex) Lunar figure is presently planning to set up a Homecar Dealer Network in the UK.
Negative comments from other dealers with regard to the demise of Lunar are likely to damage resale values of previous "Lunar" vans built by Homecar and bought in good faith.
A heading on this much viewed forum might just help to redress the balance.

Many thanks

Mike & Ann

Any one with any sense will ignore so called negative remarks about the demise of a converter or the dropping of a brand.

Ace was dropped by Swift, no problems there. We have just taken a Lunar in part exchange without any quibble and its not a cheap one either.

The parts that might give a problem such as ancillaries like cookers, heaters, fridges etc are all used by other converters so replacements are not a problem.

We have had only minor problems with our Lunar except for an intermitent roof leak. As we did not buy it from a Lunar dealer we did not expect much support. We were not dissapointed! They (Lunar) were dismal.
Having made contact with Homecar in Belgium we were releived that the roof repair was done "to new standards" and the problem we had had with the roof puddling was also dealt with, as we had hoped.

To read on this forum salemen say that "Lunars are worthless" is quite honestly frightening, so I requested the change to try to address this inaccuracy.

Unfortunately your business is a long way from us here in Gloucestershire!
Mike
