I elongated the bolt holes, used longer bolts and fitted it easily to our X2/50.
When spinning the driver's seat with the handbrake on, well, AuntieSandra has managed it many times and she is not gifted mechanically!
I did a review of the Kobran for your OutdoorBits website and was very positive about the extender. I also used the opportunity to deny the negative allegations of MH Fun personnel!
Gizmo's that sounded like a good idea but turned out to be Naf
How so ?
I could not get use to the button working opposite to the normal hand break
It would have a tendency to work itself forward, which meant every know and then when you pressed the button it did nothing, causing a moment of panic in traffic as you tried to wiggle it back in place
Tightening did not help a lot
Mine was already fitted when I bought our van
I took it off when the van needed an MOT (Didn't want to confuse the tester) this made me realise It was not needed by me, and not having it fitted was simpler

Hubby has just fitted one ot our Autocruise Starburst 2009, but even your extra long bolts did not fit.
To get it over the existing handbrake he had to use an 18mm piece of wood to open the flanges further. As a result even longer bolts were needed to fasten it.
Seems to be working fine and very pleased that our particular seat allows us to rotate it without having to let the handbrake off!

I looked at it at the Peterborough Show thai year as I thought it may help SWMBO who has short arms. I then considered £50 for something that causes you to operate the handbrake in a fashion that is opposite to standard thinking was too much.
Also considered that it is a £50 gizmo that costs about £2 to manufacture in a Chinese sweatshop. Somebody has certainly built in a massive margin.
