Good evening everyone,

I have just returned from 3 weeks touring Germany and France. Whilst in the Motorhome shops I noticed a few shops selling 12 volt coffee machines ranging from 150-200 watts. Has anyone got one?? Or tried one. Some of them are quite expensive and at the moment I just use a french press. Any help you can give me will be most appriciated.

Many Thanks

Laughing

Are they the drip feed ones, or the espresso type?

If the latter I would be very interested. Can't start the day without a good crema.

It was the drip feed type.

Like you i love a nice cup of coffee and was wondering how these can work using such low voltage.

We have one, it was very cheap (about 12) for the motorway services.
It works well and makes nice coffee but a little slow.

If it's a good crema you are after, try one of these. We've had one for a couple of years (the ESE pod one) it's a one shot at a time job but it makes a bloomin good expresso.
