Hi
We are off to the Netherlands soon for two weeks of touring and cycling. We read a letter recently in the MMM magazine which mentioned Mini Campings "usually a farm or florist with basic clean facilities and hook-up"

Has anyone with experience of using Mini-Camping any advice on using them. IE; is there a central point for booking them or do you contact individual camp sites. Also are there any sites which you can recommend

Many thanks
John & Nancy

This is a paragraph from a Cycling in Holland web site and it is the only mention of mini camping on the site. Hope the link is usefull.

[B]Our preferred sites are the 'Mini-camping sites' these are generally farmers or small holders who offer camping but they are restricted to 15 pitches so they tend to to be quieter. There is a guide available from ANWB - gids Kleine campings ANWB kamperen - ISBN 90-18-02085-0 www.vekabo.nl

I looked up the site and they have entries in other European countries, although these are limited. I thought they were expensive, about 20€ for a farm site in Poland or Czech Rebublic seems a lot to me, off-season. However it is a useful resource.
