Hi

Were almost back to Dunkerque and will be spending Thursday night at Eeklo near Brugge and would like to spend the day stocking up with wine etc before we reach Dunkerque.

Ive heard that there is a large hypermarket to the east of Dunkerque that is good for buying wine etc. does anyone know the location of the hypermarket or the best one in the area for wine etc

We have in the past used Calais city Europe but have been told its cheaper to move away from that area.

There is the Aucan on the Centre Commercial the junction number is 25A road number D131. It is the turning before the one for Norfolk Lines coming from Gent. The garage does LPG and 24hr Fuel with Nationwide Visa Debit Card.

Second that - easy to find and has just about everything. Prices lower than Calais for instance.

Hi

We used the hypermarket as recomended and found that they had a good selection of wine, not so good with the beer though.

Best buy was 5ltr boxes which were buy 2 get 1 free. We bought 3 and sampled them in the van (red, white and rose) and then bought 12 boxes of the Rose, which should keep us going until next year Wink

They also had some good deals on sparkling wine (buy 10 get 8 free).

Again thanks for the help

Andy
