This bit of kit which is a great idea has been promised for ages. Was it shown St Dusseldorf and does anyone know if and when it will go into production?

Allegedly it is available :- http://www.truma.com/int/en/power-supply/vega-fuel-cell-system.php

But looking at the tech spec it is the same as the EG20 but I cannot see any noise info on it.

Not mentioned on the UK website at all and not listed as available. I did contact Truma UK a few ekes ago but they were not willing/able to tell me anything.

If they can get it to work and it is quiet then seems ideal to me.

Long time in the making

There is an article about this in the latest edition of Reisemobil International, it will be available in Germany from December this year at a price of €6,485

In comparison, the Efoy 2200 is listed as €5,149

Wow, that's a hefty price tag. It will have to be very good before I would choose to invest. My genny is built in and gas powered so maybe should stick with that.
