Can anyone point me towards (and I have been looking) information relating to just where, using our freesat system in the van, we can locate TF1, Channels 2 and 3........... ie., which satellite are they on?
One evening I spent a lifetime, in vain, trying to find the 'Meteo.'
One of you in the know will be able to tell me if it's possible of not.
Many thanks

You can receive France 2,3,5 and ARTE on 5°W Free to Air. You need a card (which is only available with the box) for the French TNT SAT or FRANSAT, to receive TF1.

Have a look at http://en.kingofsat.net/satellites.php for details of frequencies etc.

The météo is on France 2 at about 18.50 weekdays and 19.35 weekends.

Look at http://www.programme-tv.net/programme/toutes-les-chaines/ for your programme guide.

We look almost daily when in Europe and also at home.

Hope this helps,

Brian

You'll be disappointed though.........its all in French!

I had the same problem when I went to buy a book in Intermarche......they had only printed them all in French.
What a sneaky trick! Rolling Eyes

If you can receive UK digital tv (free view) you will be able to receive the French digital channels with the meteo forcasts on TF1 etc free.
