Does anyone know after traveling through France onto Belgium, Holland and Germany if I will meet any fuel shortages?
We are travelling to Berlin on Friday

I travelled through Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and France, as well as Italy and Switzerland last week and had no trouble getting fuel in any of them. Obviously the French situation is dynamic, and some of the service stations just across the border might face increased demands.
Also off over the water on Friday, but was going to the Normandy Beaches. Now I`m going to turn left and go into Belgium.
Been looking at the web to see if this has spilt over the border, but nothing on there. I expect that the fuel stations in western parts of Belgium have been hammered from across the border, especially by the trucks, but don't expect any problems the further east you go.
I am taking a full tank out and will more than likely get a full tank in Luxembourg for the trip back. Plus 15 litres in the garage for dire emergencies. Can not see that the situation is going to get better in the next few days.
I was lucky Bob we had planned to goto the Med for the 10 days but changed our minds about 4 weeks ago and decided to goto Berlin, must have known this was going to happen
I think I will follow your lead and fill up before the tunnel and head across Belgium up to Holland missing all the troubles I hope

Do you know if the fuel stations near the border are also good for fuel

Hi Tony,
I'm in England right now but watch the news every evening on Belgian TV. I don't hear anything about fuel shortage.
The best thing now, is to avoid France if you can; besides the fuel shortage there are also strikes and road blockades throughout the country.
Not sure if anyone has heard different but I am hoping fuel will be ok in Adinkerke as we are off in a few hours
