Some of you may recall that last week I made a posting regarding my brain tumor.

As promised the result of my driving assessment. I met with my assessor on Monday and he carried out vision, hearing, physical strength and congenail tests, this took an hour and a half. In the next session I was taken to a car park where I could familiarize myself with the vehicle. I then carried out a road test that included parking and emergency stop.

I decided to take the test in a manual car but now realize that this was a mistake as I do not have a fully functioning left leg and unfortunately it slipped of the pedal twice and that of course is potently dangerous.

I decided to take the test in a manual as the motor home is also a manual, I am informed that I can have the clutch converted so that I would not need to operate the clutch pedal. any information on this modification would be appreciated.

I didn't pass but it was close and the assessor felt that I would possibly do better in an automatic. He has very kindly offered to carry out the driving section in an automatic before he makes his final decision.

I am also having some new glasses made with prisms in the lenses that I hope will also help.

It will be a few weeks until the second test and I will let you know how I get in on in an Automatic. Smile

Gotta ask what does "TBFTGOGGAOOU " mean?

Am sure it will be a wee while yet Regal and I appreciate your urgency but for both yourself and other drivers to pass the relevant requirements is a matter of safety.

Kind regards

Greenie Very Happy
