Can anyone tell me how to remove the awning light cover on a 2001 Hymer B694 without breaking it so I can replace the bulbs.

VERY carefully......try warming the sealant to remove the drip-rail so you can gain access to the retaining screws. When you replace the rail, set it a little higher so you can get to the screws without disturbing it in future.

Don't know if you ever succeeded with this but I did mine a year or two back. Use a hair dryer to warm the adhesive behind the drip cover and VERY GENTLY prise it off. Mine was very brittle and I lost bits off the ends - which I managed to reshape with a file.

The light cover has the usual type of retaining lugs and is then quite easy to lift off.

As Wacky says, when refixing the drip cover put it up a bit higher. If you have an awning fitted that gives protection against heavy rain hitting the light cover.

Having done all that, mind you, we've never used the light since!

A bit off subject but I replaced by cover and then I put LED's in mine, using the bright White version, better light and won't discolour the lens.
