Scanning through Dec issue of Which Motorhome and reading about the latest Auto-Sleeper Topaz, Trooper and Trident with the 140bhp engine, all starting at £50000 +. To me that is silly money for a smallish panel van conversion.
Also on the same page is news/pics of the Devon Monte Carlo on the new LWB Renault Master starting at £37840, twice as much space for 12000 grand less.
I have spent the best part of 30 years owning and comparing panel van conversions and I know that A/S VW panel van conversions are based on the VW Combi van ie it leaves the factory already windowed and with superior cab trim, whereby other panel van converters start with a basic van.
Would you pay the extra money for less living space/comfort.

In a word NO I had an Auto-Sleeper Topaz T5 once never again ,over-priced for what they are.
