Planning next years trips for 2011. Sking Christmas then on to Spain till March, May Scotland, July Tour de France, Then Croatia in September. Oh its so nice to be retired and have Tesco vouchers!!
What we want to know what sort of weather we can expect if we visit Croatia mid September for about 3/4 weeks?
We were there end of August and the weather was lovely. I would expect it to continue to be good for Sept. You are getting close to the end of their main season so I guess it'll be less busy then too.
I would expect the weather to remain quite warm in September, with plenty of opportunity for sunbathing. However, it does tend to break down relatively early on the Adriatic coast of Istria. And as Gerald has indicated, it can be subject to some precipitation - though I doubt as much on the coast as in Zargreb. The further south you travel towards Dubrovnik, the better it should be. And if it's of interest, the sea will still be warm for swimming.
Did you mean for this to be in the "naturism" forum? I've requested a mod to move it.
Gerald
