We are thinking about Croatia or Greece for a month in June '11. Has any one any tips or hints.

We've done both and, of the two, much preferred Greece. We loved Slovenia however, on the way to Croatia.

If you do decide on Greece then watch out for the discount ferry tickets that ( might) be on sale soon after Christmas. It might be worth getting your e-mail address on the ferry company files so that they notify you.
We used Camping on Deck with Anek from Ancona to Patras in April this year and booked online in early January, getting a substantial discount.
