Hello just wondered is it possible to adjust the settings so that the Camera is on all the time for overtaking purposes. This is the one were the monitor drops down from the roof. I have just been having a play and cannot see the setting for this, unless I have missed it.

Hope you all had a good christmas

Yes, just drop it down and switch it on. Make sure its on mirror function though or you will wonder what is on your offside. Does not really give a great view, but it can help you to learn to judge the point that you can pull in, untill you get confident with it.

Sure,
you may have noticed that on the remote that there is a button marked AV or source. That enables you to switch between the entertainment function and reversing camera. You can also do this on the Observerview unit by getting to the menu and selecting select source and changing it. The camera view will come up. Make sure you have the camera switch on in the cupboard, it should be next to the AV rotary switch.
Hopefully it should be wired like mine but there has been a few wired up completely different.
I always have it set to camera when travelling so that I can drop it down anytime and have a peek behind without selecting reverse.
Any further questions, I`ll get the manual out of the van tomorrow and let you have what it says

Hi AutoMax I have two round switches in the cupboard (Both On) and a rotary switch with three settings, I beleive the first is for the DVD player and the second is for the TV. Not sure what the third setting is for though. I also have two remotes one for the radio in dash and the other is for TV and DVD player. I will have another go at it tomorrow and report back.

Thanks for your help it is very much appreciated.

Hi Bob Had another go today with no joy. I have the AV or source functions on the remote for the radio in the dash only.

I have been into the Obserview Menue but there is no Select Source either.

I can only assume that this sytem is different from yours.
