Hi

We are looking for a motorhome hire for the above dates and have contacted a few dealers for quotes, however if anyone would be interested in arranging a private hire then please feel free to contact me.

We are a professional couple 40+, non-smokers, with two well behaved children and I promise that your pride and joy would be well looked after, happy to pay a sensible deposit in addition to the hire fee.

Any south coast location from Brighton to Weymouth would be suitable.

Thanks

Alastair

Hi
Just looked at their site but they are a bit too far East from where we are and the direction we want to go (West!)

Thanks

A 4 day hire in the school holidays is unlikely to be attractive to a hire company, as it could potentially mess up a 2 week booking.

Our experience is that obtaining appropriate short-term specialised insurance cover for privately owned motorhomes on commercial hire is problematical (if not impossible). We have even had to refuse to loan our van to relatives for the same reason.

I have seen advertisements in one of the club magazines (sorry, don't have any issues to hand at present to get more details) for an agency which facilitates hire of privately owned 'vans, I assume they also take care of this side of things. Not sure how many owners go for this though, since it would be a bit like letting strangers take over your own home and belongings for a spell . . .
