The Motorhome seems stock in all regards, ie; air-cooled diesel, manual 5 speed, no idea what model of the trans is, but the side ways adjustment seems crucial to enabling R&1st as well as 4th&5th.

Problem is, once it's adjusted to allow R&1st, it won't allow 4th&5th.

The only IVECO person who ever even wrote me back says this is a well known issue and had not resolution.

Has anyone cracked this nut, if so how and moreover does anyone know anything about the transmission I likely have?

A link to an owner's manual (ahem) for the 1980 Z100 would be at least a start (I'd prefer to not spend what little money I don't have for a manual, so 'sharing' one would be most appreciated).

Thanks, I was excited to hopefully have found a manual, but the web site says...

"If the uploader has not provided the download page link to you, there is no way to retrieve the file."

Any idea how one obtains a download page link for 1980 IVECO SO100 owners manual, service manual and/or any details about the 2826.5 gear box?

I have spent hours and hours searching the internet for sellers and mfgrs of this gear box and am not finding so much as a clue pertaining to either what parts are supposed to be used and/or how the i-shifter is supposed to be adjusted.

I'm guessing either the issue is systemic (IVECO simply is ignoring the issue, that's obvious) and/or someone's done work to it, used the wrong parts and made the issue even worse.

I have checked and it appears to be a simple PDF document, but thought I should mention it just in case

those manuals are for later model vehicles - are there any similarities to our vehicles? 1980 IVECO Z100s?

thanks,
