I mentioned this a while ago to Nuke, but I'd really like to be able to navigate to somewhere on the site and see all the new posts in a specific section - for example Motorhome Travel and Touring.

In invisage being able to click on the title (currently takes you to http://www.motorhomefacts.com/forum-c5.html) and the 'Recent Posts' being replaced not by those forum-wide but from within all the forums and sub forums within 'Motorhome Travel & Touring'.

This is the forum that interests me the most and the topics I would most like to get involved in Smile

It is quite easy to do that, Go to the page you want to use as your "Main Page" then bookmark that page, When you visit MHF again just select the bookmarked page and it will take you straight to it, Then the last posts are listed.

Very Happy

I'm interested in the whole of continental touring, including the country sub-forums. I don't think there is a way for me to see all "recent posts" in the whole of the Continental Touring section without manually viewing each of the sub-forums also?

Hi Addie

Go to the > Continental Touring Forum << Page

Scroll right down to the bottom and look for "Watch this Forum for Posts" ( on the left , blue)

Click on it and that will set the whole of the Continental Touring Forum on to a "watch".

Then each time you want to see if there are any new posts in your "watched" threads click on Watched Topics <<< which you will find on the Front Page <<< ( on the right in User Info)

Mike

P.S. Note that any thread you have posted into will also show in your "watched" list .... so it may not be just the "touring" threads that are listed ....( but that is the best I can come up with Wink )

Reason for change by spykal: added the P.S. :-)

Hi Addie

Did any of the suggestions help ? Did you find a set up that worked the way you wanted?

Mike

Hi Mike,

Apologies, I must have missed the posting notification for this thread!

I've used the watch button and will see if posts form the sub forums come across in the watched threads section of the site. I guess I'm interested in all of the country specific sub forums but it's difficult to visit all 20 of them - or at least check the most recent posting date on all of them, before viewing the main forum for uncatagorised posts.

Will give it a go and report back Smile
