Ford Transit-Hymer Van Cab Central Locking Problem

Hi all, We have recently bought a Ford Transit based Hymer Van 22. I have a question to all other Ford Transit based owners;-) Our van does not appear to have Central Locking!! I cannot even lock both cab doors by locking the drivers door! Is this a usual feature on the Transit Cab? Can Central Locking be switched on/off ? Any advice greatly appreciated....... Many thanks

You've not mentioned an age or model (mk6/7?)
Do you have a remote with the key? Is the cab basic, or does it have heated windscreen, elec mirrors etc?
Mk6 "non basic" model has remote central locking, and I'd *assume* all modern ish tranny based MH will be remote locking as the basic van is too basic to convert.
Have you read the manual? Explains how to lock/deadlock via the key? Though we never use the key....

My previous 2007 reg. Hymer 622 on a Transit chassis didn't have central locking.
Chassis was actually built 2006.
