Sprinter or Ducato for Conversion

I've just sold my coachbuilt and am looking at having a conversion done on a panel van with a local convertor.
The decision is either a brand new Fiat Ducato XLWB or a 2nd hand Sprinter LWB to the same value.
I am looking at a 3 berth / 4 travel seat conversion with fixed bed over a garage to carry bicycles / small motorbike.
What would be the best choice and why?

Take a look on Ebay for race vans for ideas, you might see something useful and save a quid or three.

I have been looking through ebay and pretty much have my layout sorted, just wondered on what people thing regarding the base van options.
I can get a Ducato new at a very good price and am looking at at least a 2 year old sprinter to get the same price.
