Thanks for Asking John, well only actually had time to go surfing twice so far, once was the initial lesson as I have never done it before and then the second time was me testing out my own board and wetsuit etc.
Loved the lesson, really invigorating etc and great fun, but alas never got to stand up fully, highest I reached was on my knees 
anyways on my next solo go i got up for the briefest of moments and i am definately hooked, just need more time to dedicate to it and boost my fitness levels up as well as its very tiring 
I'll keep you all posted if i actually get up on two feet at any stages
