rear leaf springs on Fiat Ducato
Message:
Have read the post by whistlinggypsy about his front suspension strut
If a second strut went reasonably soon after having the first one replaced, why were both not done at the same time.
One of my rear leaf springs has gone, does that mean that only one will be replaced or should both of them be done at the same time?
If the vehicle is out of kilter in some way, would it not be better to replace both in case there is a fault in this?
Has anyone else had something like this?
I'm sure I will enjoy this forum, it has some interesting faces. I don't have a judder, or at least haven't done much reversing.

rear leaf springs on the Fiat Ducato X250

Yes, one of the rear leaf springs needs replacing, I have spoken to a mechanic and he says that both should be replaced at the same time.
I just wondered if anyone else had any knowledge of this before I speak to the Fiat dealership.
It is the X2-50 base vehicle
