1993 Ducato 2.5 TD fuel filter electrical connections

Folks
Our 1993 Ducato 2.5 turbo diesel has 3 wires coming out of a sensor that screws into the bottom of the fuel filter. I think this activates the water-in-fuel light on the dashboard.
These 2 wires connect into the main wiring loom with a Fiat 2-way connector and a separate 1-way connector (black-black).
The Fiat 2-way connector has dropped off due to corrosion and these 2 wires are bare. I would like to re-connect them.
The 2 bare wires coming out of the fuel filter are coloured blue and red. The corresponding 2 bare wires in the loom are coloured white-with-a-yellow-stripe and orangey-brown
Does anyone know if which colour should be connected to which?
Does anyone have a similar van, and if so could they take a peep?

We have a 1998 2.5 TDI, Its a bit dark now I will have a look tomorrow and if I find anything I will post it here.

From filter
Red to brown(your orange/brownie)
Blue to White (your white/yellow)
Hope this helps
Not quite the same as yours but enough to to work it out also mine has 3 wires and I would like to say IM NOT A SPARKY ha ha
