Check your recalls with the dealer

Check your recalls
For the past week I have had a very dead motorhome, problems started last Sunday when the fiat started as usual with out problem for its weekly run to charge batteries and keep oils round engine etc. after idling for a couple of mins we jumped in and set off, with no revs, the engine would not answer the throttle at all. Now being a reasonable home mechanic I sussed out that the problem was electronic and decided that one of the vacuum valves would be at fault. After talking to my local Peugeot dealer I go the following info. Peugeot and Citroen have a recall on the Boxer/Relay series 2. the Fiat dealer checked with Fiat to find the recall had not been done on my vehicle. NOt a safety recalls so VOSA not involved.
Reason for posting: Fiat still have Swift as the owner of the home and have sent the recall notice to them. So check with Fiat via the dealer for any outstanding recalls with your chassis number for the 244 Ducato and Peugeot dealer for Boxes and relays series 2.

Good advice but check with the cab/chassis manufacturers dealer not the motorhome converters dealer.
