Just to second the review by Pandalf. Just come back after a few nights here. As mentioned Jim the landlord is very friendly and took no payment for our stay. Food is basic but hot and tasty. Rogers curry is particularly nice!! We used the carpark near the entrance to the old CL and had no problems with our 7.6m motorhome. Water and disposal point are handily place too.

It looks like the field behind the pub that has been a CCC CS is now no longer operable. But this is not necessarily bad news. The pub has now joined an organization called BritStop, and they are open only to motorhomes. But there is now no charge at all to stay the night, but they would obviously like people to consider having a drink or meal. There is no EHU, but there is fresh water and a chemical toilet emptying point. Access to toilets during pub opening hours. There are two car parks - park in the one that is by the main road through the village. The car park is fairly level and will comfortably accommodate motorhome up to about 8 metres in length. Any bigger might be a challenge. The pub serves a limited food menu, but the helpings are generous and very well priced. Drinks prices are also very reasonable. The landlord (Jim) is very friendly and the place has a nice, welcoming atmosphere.
