Morning all

Can't tell how D is, she is fast asleep whilst I am awake courtesy of the two dogs who within 5 minutes of each other wanted to be let out around 6am.

I think they are fast asleep too. I can hear Lottie snoring.

Creating Facebook pages for both of them seemed a bit of fun at the time but is taking half of my waking hours helping them administer it Smile

Jan2 Im glad your feeling better

Russell hope all goes well at the hospital

Chris enjoy your day out. is it a photographic day?

Frank Shadow was trying to get me up early this morning but I refused Laughing Laughing. I think Doreen will find a difference today

Well in spite of good intentions although the van is stripped and empty It isn't cleaned and hoovered and the beds remade. It may or may not get done today
Or I may ask Kath to do it , she enjoys cleaning it and it its about the right size for her, she is so tiny

Enjoy your day everyone

Sandra

Doreen back from hospital, this from her:

Glad to hear that you are home again Doreen, and hopefully when the anaesthetic has worn off, you'll perhaps be able to appreciate the effects of the steroid injections.

Every few years, I have to have cortisone injections into the base of the spine, after spinal surgery on L5 S1. Although uncomfortable every time, they keep me going pain free for several years. I consider myself to be so lucky to have not only survived the surgery, but also to have been able to return to normal operational duties, for some years after the surgery.
Life is a bit more sedate , so I am not putting my back through so much abuse now.

Best regards,

Jock & Rita.

Doreen says thanks, Jock. They have only done half of the work to see how she takes to the three injections around T6 T7 area she thinks. The rest of her problems are at at the sacroilliac and won't be touched for at least 3 months. The pain she gets there and down her leg can be managed whereas the T area pain was chronic and unremitting. Touch wood she is much better today and she's just filled in her pain diary 1 instead of 6.

Doreen 'Rest' you must be joking anyway I've kind of forced rest on her as we are gong to the new forest and a garden centre. The dogs will also thank me for leaving the computers behind. FB is such hard work for them. They have been choosing photos to upload.

Morning all!

I've had my breakfast and my second coffee. And I've started packing my suitcase. My MH is ready to be picked up and I'll fetch it on friday. And I'm not driving straight back home hence the suitcase. Smile

Russell best of luck with your downstairs appointment! Wink

Good morning all.

Russell, good luck at the hospital.

Frank, I'm glad Doreen's feeling better.

Well, having rained all day yesterday (with a little bit of snow thrown in for good measure), the weather's dry, bright, sunny - and very windy this morning. The wind woke me a few times during the night (the weather that is, not personal wind. Laughing ) I think I'd better choose a dry path for today's dog walk or it will be bath time for Pippin.

Good morning all

We've moved to camping Almafra from old Marjal and what a shock to the system. Pitches are made from quarry waste which has set like concrete and therefore we've decided not to use the awning as pegging it down would be too painful for Brians wrists and I didn't bring a sledge hammer!!

We did get a fantastic sunset which changed so quickly. The photographers would have enjoyed it.

Have a good day all

Jan

Good morning all Very Happy

Have been up 'pottering' for a couple of hours and the antibiotics seem to be doing their job as I feel much better today Very Happy

I am Early birding from what will soon be our new hom eLaughing

We have converted a small barn next to our farmhouse into a very nice 2bed house all kitted up for 2 pensioners who want to clear off in their motorhome a lot.

Daughter, son-in-law and 2 kiddies will move in to main house at Easter Laughing

So today I have discovered that the BT broadband will work in the barn so I need not sign up for another package Laughing

Good luck Russell today !

Frank hope Doreen continues to improve.

Well, it is blue skies and glorious sunshine, albeit quite cold over here.

Have a good one.

TTFN,

Jock.
