Overview:

Bessacarr (part of Swift Group) have taken a long hard look at the European competition that has been reaching our shores over recent years. The E530 is part of the 2007 four model, 2 berth, 500 series line up. Opting for the ‘Elegance’ version enhances the specification further to include recessed awning, colour reversing camera, satellite navigation and entertainment package.

Outside:

The whole vehicle looks nicely proportioned. Graphics are neat and understated, contrasting with the tinted windows and white body colour. The rear camera on this Elegance version has its own moulded recess under the high level rear brake light, whilst the integrated awning looks tidy, not spoiling the lines. Alloy roof rails add the finishing detail to complete the continental look.

Inside:

The first thing to impress is the feeling of light and airy space. There is alot of clear window area here, including two panoramic roof lights. The wood colour is light but with enough detail not to look bland, with the fabric colour contributing to the theme of light, modern design. There is plenty of lounging space, with good lighting. Standard equipment includes full kitchen (hob, oven, grill, three way fridge, hot+cold water with sink & drainer) plus microwave. The side dresser unit doubles up as either extra worktop area or entertainment point, having the relevant sockets and is at the ideal viewing height for a flatscreen TV. Washrooms on this type of layout can be a little cramped but this one is generous with decent corner basin and good sized showering area, protected by duckboard for non-showering use.
