We have bought a brand new 2010 Roller Team 700 on a transit base with a 2.4 engine, it is a seven berth and very well laid out and the finish overall is a lot better than our swift was. I had read some comments on the quality as being at the bottom of the range but i have to report that those comments and observations are somewhat misplaced. This van i have to is stunning in the detail like edge trimmings are fitted seamless and all the insides of the cabinets are finished and varnished and also the panels under the cushions are smooth finish and no bare wood anywhere.
The overhead bed is very comfortable indeed also shower room and toilet area there is plenty of storage, heating system works great, full sized fridge with a freezer on the top ideal for the old fishing bait and catch. Spare wheel and a emergency repair kit.so all in all it is a great Motorhome doing 25 MPG and maybe better on a run .
For a family van this is the one my wife and i have tried all the beds and the one over the cab is ours and we have just retuned from a good weekends fishing and used the freezer great ,the only short coming is no outside light which we will put right.
We will keep this updated through the summer.
We have just fitted the following : 600w inverter, satalite system, reversing camera, the reccomended cycle rack by fiamma and it looks great .
9/8/11 update Van running very well, still will only do 25mpg but thats ok ,have a Fiamma privacy room 4.5 meter easy when you have worked out those drawings in the hand book which i will point out is total rubbish ,i was quickly losing my rag as they sent the fittings for every van on the planet but my Lady wife put me on the right path. Also had to drill a 35mm hole roof to fit arerial that went well.
I would still recommend this van as it is lovely to drive and just flies up hills and i am very pleased with it, will update again Winter time
PS We have both retired now and are off with two of the grand kids
6/2/2012 We noticed the front top spoiler had a crack in it a few weeks ago ,we phoned the Dealer and he said send some pictures which i did and he phoned me back and said he would order a new one ,a few weeks later they phoned and said they had got it and it had gone to the paint shop ,i pointed it out that mine was not painted it was shiney plastic ,he said it has come in with primer on it so i figured that they would spray it grey-Wrong it came back silver it looked quite good so i said i could live with that and we took it down last week to be done and also to do the habitation check and service.
We went down to day to pick it up a bit worried about the colour but it looked stunning in silver as this is a big piece of the front we were concerned ,they did this under warranty and also found the charger not working and few minor things done it all under warranty without any argument. Well done TC Motorhomes a great job and thanks.
PS at this point it has only done 1600 Miles and is running like a dream.
