According to my handbook Brownhills/Hymer UK provide aftersales support for my Eriba 'vanNo knowledge of vehicle so were unable to provide educated technical advice. General attitude was derogatory approaching insulting. Second bad experience with Brownhills, will not deal with them again

Supply of Hobby MotorhomeAbysmal aftersales service, Vehicle suffered major fault within 1 hr of purchase. Dealer appeared to be not intereted. Various faults with vehicle & parts missing [ It appears that the van had been used as a spare parts bin! ] Despite spending £ 40K we were treated as though we had bought an old banger for £ 2 K. We will never deal with them again

Secondhand Swift KontikiBrownhills south west Very poor after sales service no reply to emails or phone calls. Poor pre sale check a number of items not checked and repaired nearly 4 months and still waiting for parts, have obtain some myself on the internet quicker.

Supplied and for last 2 years serviced Hymer B584 +additionalsBrownhills Northeast: superb service in every area. Great price when buying our first MH. First class backup (and I'm a grumbler!). No prob or question too small for them to pay attention to. They even phone back out of hours.

Reneged on Warranty2 days prior to a 10day holiday our 11 month old camper developed a fault on the leisure battery charger. Brownhills service wouldn’t even look at it for 2 weeks. We ended up fitting a different make at our own expense to prevent cancellation of the holiday. All our contact with Brownhills was verbal (unfortunately) due to the urgency, and when the faulty charger was delivered as requested for investigation, no receipt was obtained. The charger was promptly lost. Numerous calls later, and no satisfaction, we wrote to the MD, cc Swift. Brownhills have still not acknowledged our letter of complaint. Swift investigated, and Browhills denied all knowledge. Shoddy deceiptful non-existent service. Not interested once your cheque has cleared. Would not recommend Brownhills to anyone – but please don’t let this put anyone off Swift.

Warranty claim for Remis blinds which are faulty and acknowledged by Remis to be so.Still waiting for agreement of my warranty claim which is now over 4 weeks old. B staff have taken pictures and submitted to Hymer AG but I am still waiting. The MD of Remis accepts that there was a faulty batch and that blinds should be replaced under warranty, so why the delay
