| Information: | Visitor's car park above the dam (Barrage) of Lac Gileppe. Frequently used by motorhomes (mainly from Belgium) for overnight stays. From the N629 between Eupen and Jalhay follow signposts to "Barrage de la Gileppe". Lies amidst a large forest and is quiet at night. Though some people have reported drug dealing and boy racer activities during the night security should now be OK as police patrols frequently and site is illuminated. Addendum 2008-03-10: Several visitors have reported that there has been an enormous increase in unpleasant nocturnal activities. Obviously police presence has been reduced. So you have been warned! Toilets are available during the opening hours of the cafe. | |
