| Information: | A cracking aire located on the banks of the Rv Loire in the lovely town of Beaugency. Very popular so arrive early if you want a good spot. No servicing point but there is a tap behind the toilet and you can empty the loo in the continental style toilet. Follow the N152 through Beaugency and the aire is easily seen by the loire near the bridge and next to the boules pitch. | |

just as good as ever. unfortunately we had to move on just as the front pitches became vacant. wonderful roman defensive tower, catholic school and mediaeval church. | |

very busy aire, justifiably, and still free to park. "front" pitches have river view - we arrived late-ish on a Sunday and just got in on the back row - moved to the front next morning. Town is quiet, but has interesting history. Note most of shops closed on Mondays. | |

A good site by the river with easy access into town, parking for about 25 vans. facilities by card payment only. | |

Visited here is Oct 08. They now have a first class concrete service point that is operated by credit card. There is a menu of options from 2Euros per 10 mins for water or electricity. Waste and WC is free however please note THE WATER CONNECTION HAS A LARGE TAP so will need an additional connector if you want to take on water. There is also a mobile Frites/Pizza van semi permanently located at the aire (open in evenings in Oct but not sure how much longer into the season) excellent cycle route alongside river towards Orleans or Blois | |
