| Number Of Pitches: | Unknown / N/A | | Information: | New Aire at Brugge, Exit A18 at junction 7 towards Brugge, after going under railway bridge turn right and follow bus signs, Aire situated next to Coach Parking. Easy 15 minute walk into city through park. Day parking for motorhomes on left side of the access road.
Quite expensive but all facilities are new and it was well occupied when we were there. All hard-standing numbered pitches, you take a ticket when you arrive and pay at the machine on nearby coach park when you leave. | Attractions Nearby: | Beautiful city of Brugge with it's vast choice of museums, churches and best of all Chocolate shops!! | Toilet Rating: | N/A | Distance from Public Transport(miles): | 1 | Opening Dates: | / / | Cost per night (High Season): | €22.50 | Cost per night (Low Season): | €15.00 | Cost for services: | €1 | Cost for Services(Hookup/Water): | €1 | Campsite Type: | Aire | Please mention Motorhome Facts when you contact this Motorhome campsite | |

Review Rating:: | Excellent sites as mentioned. Clean and fairly quite. Excellent for visiting the town.
Have uploaded to my youtube channel a video of the Aire and the approach to it.

Review Rating:: | The old day parking area across the road has now been classified as full overnight accommodation which more or less doubles the overnight capacity but removes the cheaper day parking option. Price and payment arrangements same as for the main aire. |
Review Rating:: | Camping Memling is far better value in the Summer, but this Aire is ideal in the winter. |
Review Rating:: | Just come back from a weekend at the Aire. Facilities are 50c not 1 euro. Brilliant position in relation to the town and very quiet at night. When full it would feel quite cramped but the position more than makes up for it.
Make sure you leave before 11am or you are charged for an extra day. We will be using it again. |
Review Rating:: | This aire is in a lovely position, both in relation to getting into Bruges and in its situation. This may sound strange as it is indeed next to the main coach park. However, it is well shielded from the buses and overlooks marina moorings. Well equipped and pretty spacious. We have stayed here twice and intend going back just before Christmas. Since all other sites nearby are a long way out of town this is a great addition to Bruges for motorhomes. |
Review Rating:: | I visited the Aire during July so was charged the Summer price, this was 22E 50cents, and 50cents for 5 minutes of fresh water. I think this is pretty steep for what you get. The winter price remains the same at 15E. |
Review Rating:: | Little to add to the previous reviews. really - aire was only about a third full when we visited last week. Great location, and main reason for adding this review is that we found the Carrefour Market by the station very handy for breakfast stuff, etc. Only a very short walk.
Also, while so much in Brugge seemed expensive, we found the trains were reasonable and visted Gent. (Currently being dug up for tram development - sure it'll be nice when it's finished!) |
Review Rating:: | Its clean and there are no problems but it is only an aire and okay for a night. Its all numbered level hardstanding but don't think about getting out chairs or an awning. Price when we went in Aug 2009 had gone up to 22.50 per 24 hours including electric.
Toilet is emptied at the machine on the aire but fresh water and grey water disposal is at the office on the coach park where you need to pay your money and validate your ticket on your way out. Don't pay extra by paying for these at the machine on the aire
Great for visiting Brugge which is only a short walk up the road and we'll no doubt use it next we visit Brugge |
Review Rating:: | Stayed here May '09 and would in future choose Camping Memling if in the area. €22.50 April to September plus 50 cents for drinking, grey or black water services is a serious rip off, although the nice chap in charge will let you use the coach grey and drinking water service for free in the coach park. |
Review Rating:: | Just to clarify, high season (Apr-Sept) it's 22.50EUR, low season it's 15EUR.
Don't have to pay 50c to fill water tank - there's a tap by the hut for the coach station which is free. |
Review Rating:: | was going to stay here over night on our way back to dunkirk but the price has now gone up to 22.50 euro so decided to push on a bit further |
Review Rating:: | Not much to add to Clianthus's review, there are 37 pitches, half under trees, some in the clear. The 15 Euro's is for 24 hours from when you take the ticket out, go one minute over and it will cost you another 15 euro's, it is computer controlled so although Johanne who looks after the coach park and the aire is a great guy he can't override the machine.
If you stay on the day park opposite be aware that if you go over the 4 hours (€5) it goes up steeply on a sliding scale. SidT |
