Cost is now 6.00 per 24 hrs, with Strom (hook-up) at an additional 1.50.
Be advised, hookup is supervised, and is available from 08.00 to 12.30 & 14.30 to 18.00 (possibly 20.00, can't remember). Outside those times you cannot access the plug/breaker boxes. Two pin continental plug required.
The 20 min cycle ride to Trabach-Traben is worthwhile, but does have a steady climb out of the towns for about 1K.

Its next to a nice little town with bar and restaurant ( very popular with locals - good value) ,well worth a walk around .

This is the ultimate Stellplatz, it is capable of holding 300 vans and still feel comfortable. the views across the river Moselle with its little passenger ferry & river traffic (barges and massive floating hotels) which run alongside the site are stupendous. The local baker calls each morning with fresh bread and fantastic cakes etc. and if you can understand German the newspapers. Heavy sleepers should be aware that the good lady baker announces her presence with a small bell which is not over-loud. The water waste & Strom (electricity) facilities are excellent as are the apples that fall in abundance from trees on the site. We visited in June & again in October in 2008 & on both occasions were caught by the intensity of the sun. This lovely site is also inhabited by a pair of swans who this year produced 2 broods of 3 cygnets all of which roam freely amongst the vans begging tit-bits which they will take from your hand. In October we were also visited by a pair of tame Egyptian Geese which turned up on a further site near Trier a good 50 miles away 2 days later. All in all a site not to be missed even if the fee has like most German sites increased to 6.50euros a night.

Large Stellplatz on grass with a few hard standings. Access to toilets and showers at the nearby Tourist Information centre for a small charge. Easy walk into village with numerous restaurants. Cycle track runs through site to visit all towns up and down the Mosel. Small passenger ferry across the river also operates from the site.
Charge is now 6
