My motorhome has been advertised for sale, and now had enquiry from a company that says they have customers waiting to pay full asking price, if I place an ad with them.
The ad cost is quite low, and they promise no additional charges after that expenditure.
I am sceptical !!
Anyone got knowledge of "Motorhomessoldquick.com" and their authenticity.
Especially after last weeks TV Watchdog programme about folks selling cars and having callers wanting cash to advertise to waiting customers, who do not exist!

Sounds like a scam.
Why don't you offer them the ad cost as commission after completion of the sale.

You are right to be sceptical. If they have so many buyers waiting to pay full asking price, why are there so many cars, motorhomes, lodges etc etc for sale???
They seem to be part of carssoldquick.com who I have never heard of.
They may be completely legit but as always, if something seems too good to be true, it normally isn't.

Be wary is my advice!
My brother is trying to sell his Mohawk motorhome at the moment too and all the dealers he has rang around are saying that nobody is buying right now due to it being so near to Christmas and it being winter time etc. They all say the market will start to move again in the spring! My brother has had his motorhome advertised on here and also on eBay but the only offers he has received have been way, way below its true value. His MH is only 7 months old and is in excellent as new condition and it has recently been massively reduced in order to help sell it but even so, he has not managed to find a genuine buyer yet and its been up for sale since the end of Sept.
If this company genuinely have got waiting customers then please let me know who they are as my brother could do with talking to them too.
Please keep us updated as I am interested to hear what happens.
Good luck and I hope you get a quick sale.

Avoid like the plague !!
I have NEVER heard of anyone actually selling anything on one of these "We have buyers waiting" sites.
If there are that many keen buyers about this sort of website would be pointless wouldnt it ???? How many people do you know who have actually BOUGHT via such a site??? How many have evne heard of it. I know I havent
Just look at the number of classified ads that have the caveat " No canvasers" at the end.
Trust your instincts and tell them where to go !!!

If they said "We don't have people waiting to buy" they wouldn't get any take up!
So, they spin the words and people pay for adverts
They have no more 'buyers' than any other medium.....see Sue's comments.

I wonder why you have to place an ad with them if they already have buyer waiting
Be wary, be very wary.
