Number Of Pitches:Unknown / N/A
Information:This was a wonderful campsite for views over Red Dwarf Bay... lots of different levels and fields.. so even it had been busy, you would still have a reasonable feeling of seclusion. We liked it as it was very laid back and there weren't all the usual signs everywhere, so had a homely sort of feel, with the view being the all important criteria. Oh, and the seals when you climbed down to the rocks below! A 10 min walk [either thru static site or along road] to town and another couple of mins to beach... downhill all the way of course beach further down than town- sooooo coming back.......puff, pant. Nice town with usual things... spar shop, fish and chips beach shops pubs, restaurants. garage. Can hire jet skis, etc. Lovely sandy bay, with dogs able to walk at the far end [well signed]. GPS by Olley so may be incorrect, if you know better please PM D/B Admin
Attractions Nearby:watersports, wildlife spotting. fishing etc.

Its Red Wharf Bay - unless you're a fan of a certain TV comedy! Haven't been there yet but sounds very interesting. Maybe the Delirious Warden has retired by now.

Was at this site on last bank holiday weekend - the senior warden ( guy with big white beard ) VERY VERY rude - I had asked one warden if I could use a tap near the reception shed and was told it was not a problem - then when I had set up my hose to van ( as toilets / showers unimaginable to use ) he approached me - proceeded to shout at me what the hell was i doing using his private tap and why hadnt I asked him as, all the, and i quote "stupid idiots in campervans always break his tap" when informed I had asked another staff member to use the tap - he told me " I dont like your attitude" - STAY AWAY FROM HIM. When quiet I would think this basic site would be a joy as the other staff very friendly and the location is fantastic and half the price of a similarly equipped St Davids park, plus you can take dogs. Provided they get rid of the delerious old warden that is, unless you actually like being abused whilst on your holiday.
