Police headquarter is right 'round the corner, so it should be quite safe. There is a sink for emptying transportable grey/black water containers. There is also a water tap, but it is directly located at this sink! So take care of germs!

Review Rating:: Very Good - Score 7

We visited this [late] Sept & [early] Oct & was informed by a local policeman that whilst the barriers come down during the day [& to get in you have to take a ticket from the barrier machine] - if you leave BEFORE 8am its FREE ! as the barriers are in the 'up' position from 11pm till 8am . . I would not take a chance filling with fresh water as it looks like the same fitted water hose is used for toilet cleaning.
A loverly town,plenty of shops & cafes.

Visited again this year.
As stated, they have now moved the parking area to the far end of the carpark where there is lots more space. I have added a new photo of the new area.
Very popular now, we spent the night with about another 20 vans.
You can get cars parked between units as it is a shared area.
Great stoppover to visit Gouda and still €7 which is a good price for Nederlands imo.

Review Rating:: Fair - Score 5

The motorhome stellplatz has now moved to a connected car park with a lot more space, no longer a restriction for larger outfits. The waste and water provision remains in the original location.

Stayed the night here in Nov08.

The (small) motorhome parking slots are right by the entrance to the carpark so every vehicle entering and leaving comes past your van making it a bit noisy. If we were to visit again we would park at the bottom end of the parking area where it is much quieter.
As mentioned, the water tap above the waste sink is not the most hygenic idea in the world, we didn't fancy using it.
There is a barrier system where you take a ticket on entering and insert the ticket in the pay machine at the entrance to program the card for exit just before you leave. We left just before 0900 and all the barriers were up, so we got a freebie!
