Having read the first review above I thought the council or police will have intervened to deal with the nuisance of the people in cars so we went to stay for a few night in the County Antrim area and stayed the first night in the Castle car park. It is a great setting and plenty of space and the Aire de service is excellent but the crowds of people driving around in cars at high speed, spinning and blowing their horns is very annoying. We stayed the first night and put up with it but the second night the carry-on went on till well past midnight so we moved out to Whitehead at Bentra Golf club where the site is a bit sloping but there arre toilets and showers etc which the staff are happy for you to use when they open up around 8.00 am.

Such a pity that no one seems to care about the behaviour of the car park louts, it gives the town a very bad impression

We visited this car-park this evening, on a Sunday night; it's certainly very accessible; the public toilets are very good. Unfortunately, at least for tonight it appears to be the hangout spot for a big bunch of young car enthusiasts, and our motorhome is shaking with bass thumps and the rumble of their souped up cars, parked in a big scrum metres from our van, cars coming and going at high speed the whole time. We gave it until 9 PM, then moved on to the car park at Whitehead.
