Review Rating:: Best - Score 8

Attractive little site, mainly hardstanding pitches with ehu - check with site for maximum length they can handle. Open all year.

Approach road is very narrow slip road from A507, but it IS one way so no worry about meeting something. Kerb has been lowered where it turns the corner to make it easier.

Good quality heated facilities block, toilets, showers, disabled, laundry, dishwashing, library, tourist info and wifi (only in the block I think, not on pitches). 2 play areas (under-5 and 5+). Rally field and meeting room available for hire.

2 fishing lakes and on-site shop with angling supplies (no groceries but does hot/cold drinks and ice creams). Walks around site and in the area.

As site is at the point the A507 rises to cross the main railway line, there is some noise from both road and rail which does calm down a lot at night.

An update on this site. Open all year with 20+ pitches. The star rating must now be in error and should be higher. This is near my home so have not stayed there. Fishing is one of their advertised attractions. Owing to the layout of the approach road, it looks difficult for the largest motorhomes to negotiate the kerbed turn off the main road although I have seen large RV's on site.
