Number Of Pitches: | 50 | |
Information: | This formerly relatively simple aire has in 2005 been moved by about 300 metres onto the terrain of a former Camping Municipal. There barrier at the entry is operated by credit card only! Still a tranquil site at a small lake inmidst the volcanic region of Auvergne. The old site is not accessible any longer. | |

here in early September 2009 - now €7. As has been said - quirky entrance system! I think if you stay more than one night you're supposed to buy another night and put the ticket in the window? One would think that somebody would be checking that? Toilets and other facilities of the old Munucipal are not in use, but there are toilets behind the Mairie. A tip if approaching from the autoroute, Tom tom took us on some circuitous route, just go straight on towards the village and go alongside the lake and turn left at the Mairie / Church. Also for water, use the taps inside the site rather tham paying for the supply from the flot bleu outside! |

Visited in Mar09. It now has a strange new entrance procedure. There are 2 rising posts set at 8.2mtrs apart, anything longer won't fit! Payment is only by card at the entrance (back down to €6). Insert card and pin, first post will lower, drive up to second post, first post will rise behind you and you then wait until the second post lowers for entry into the site. Reverse procedure on exit. The posts were all lowered when we visited probably because it was out of season but we paid anyway, UK card (visa) acceted by the machine no probs. Electricity is included in cost. Some pitches were a bit boggy so we reversed onto pitch leaving front wheels on the tarmac. IMO the old aire was much better, this one has been complicated in a way only the French know how! Pete |

Not much change here other than the price has risen to 8 Euros however the barrier was broken (looked like it had been for some time) and so it was free. Even the service point was free. Nice walk around the lake |
