| Information: | Independant site, part of larger holiday village group, possibly the closest official campsite to Keukenhof Gardens (5km).Compact and divided into hedged individual areas, each containing up to 10 pitches 9m square (unless you get a far corner pitch) all with 6amp hookup, and a water tap. All pitches are on grass but, despite encountering heavy rain during our stay, we had no access problems. However due to access, RV-type units would have difficulties. Well over half the site is occupied by seasonal and some permanent units although the touring pitches are generally in other areas. The spotless toilet and washroom facilities, centrally located, are limited in number but, probably due to the longer-term residents having their own, seemed to be perfectly adequate. There was a sign for a M/H service point but we could not find it however there is a chemical disposal point at the rear of the toilet block. There is a launderette next to reception. A small, well-stocked supermarket is within a few minutes walk, beneath an Indian restaurant and a pizzeria, all located on the adjacent bungalow park. An on-site cafe/bar next to reception is open some afternoons and most evenings. The site is easily accessible to the adjacent lake used for watersports so some control over children is advised, although they have their own play area next to the toilet block. On-line reservation is available, and essential during the Keukenhof Flower Festival. | |
| Attractions Nearby: | Keukenhof Flower Gardens are 5km. Noordwijk is a popular seaside town with superb sandy beaches, approx 4km. The Hague and Amsterdam are within half an hour drive. | |
