| Information: | This popular and excellent but expensive site is located on the north side of Copenhagen about a 35 minute bus ride from the centre (cost DKK17 one way). It is built within a 19th century moated fort and many guns still remain in position. It is located next to the sea and within level parkland. There is an adjacent restaurant and local shops are about 500 metres away with the bus stop for wheelchair friendly busses into Copenhagen being about 200 meters away. Main tarmac site road lead to small level grass pitches. Electricity is charged for by the unit and a swipe card is issued to operate the entrance barrier and this also stores purchased cash units to operate washing machines and hot water for the showers. Level but small pitches and units are pitched very close. | |
