We stayed at Camping Athens for four nights. The middle-aged lady on reception was pleasant, organised and helpful. All the facilities were clean and functioned OK. They were refurbished for the 2004 Olympic Games. There was no privacy to the wash-hand basins. They were open to full view – even the womens.
The toilet emptying facility was the best Ive seen: a huge, lidded, stainless steel funnel, complete with foot operated flush.
Travelling to Athens’ centre was easy and cheap, with half fare [€0.60 single] for over 65’s. The most difficult and scary part was crossing the 8-lane dual carriageway!!
All the sites were also half price for EU members, over 65 but you had to ask and produce your passport.
In June 2015 we paid €24 plus an optional €4 for electricity.

This is like most Greek sites, overpriced, poorly maintained and very off hand staff. They complained about very few visitors whilst we were there, that is because they charge too much for too little, our 11 Year old daughter was charged adult prices. We paid 30 Euros for 2 adults and 2 kids, we were paying 15 Euros in Italy and far less in the UK and most other countries. As a visitor from Australia, I found it amazing that they can expect people to pay this much. They will eventually find they will have few visitors, Athens is dirty, overpriced and they are very lucky that they still have some decaying monuments, but again overpriced and under resourced. We spent 3 weeks travelling through Greece and found it amongst the most expensive, dirty and unrelaiable countries we had been to (we visited 22 countries). You alawys felt that someone was trying to rip you off and really getting nothing for it. It was such a disappointment considering places such as Poland and Czech Republic, germany, France and UK were quite the opposite. My most disappointing place.

When entering the site from Corinth the site is on the left. You need to do a U turn. You need to be in the RIGHT lane and about 1 km from the site there is a complex junction where the main road goes underground. Take the slip road (right) and all is clear. There is a U turn lane on the left off the slip road. There are at least two places where a U turn from the left lane looks possible but neither is possible or allowed.

For those planning a trip to Athens this site is ideal for visiting all the cities attractions. The bus stop is close to the site entrance. It is also very convenient for Piraeus Port, 4 miles.

Large garden type site with the entrance off an 8 lane dual carriageway. There is some road noise during the day but is reasonably quiet at night.

Only a very small part of the site was in use, there were six units during our short (19/20 March) visit.

The English speaking staff were very helpful.

Camper, two persons and electricity.

Up to 31/03/2010 €28 per night

After 31/03/2010 €29 per night.
There are no discounts available, they do except the plastic though.

This includes wifi with the best signal close to the office.

Toilets very good, showers adequate, all very clean. Could be stretched in high season.

Shop and restaurant open in the high season.

There are no washing machines available.

There are two supermarkets and an ATM within walking distance of the site.

Turn left out of gate, Eurobank ATM on left in 10 minutes

Small supermarket, turn left out of gate s/m on left 5 minute walk.

Large AB Supermarket, turn right out of gate s/m on right, 15 minute walk.

LPG is available within 2 miles

The BP filling station looks like a scrap yard. As you enter the site the LPG pump is directly in front of you. We paid €0.69 per litre.

While we were waiting our turn they refilled a large camping gas bottle and a local 13 kg bottle. They had a set of adapters that would fit most bottles including calor gas bottles.

When you drive out of the site you must turn right, within 200 metres there is a set of traffic lights where you can do a u turn.

We have been in Greece now for five days and I've noticed that many filling stations do not now except credit cards.

Safe travelling.
