This one has closed down. I would now recommend the new one at Bergenshallen.

One of the few places to stay in Bergen these days this site have room for ca. 75 motorhomes and provides electricity (extra fee), water, a service point, wifi (extra fee), a service building for showers and laundry. NKR 200 per night. The place is guarded 24h.

The site is located on the harbour with a wiew of the bay where boats sail by. You can cross the nearby bridge to get to the town centre or go 10 minutes north for the closest shops.

Currently, major roadworks including (permanent?) concrete obstructions prevent access from NE, so approach from SW via Carl Konows Gate & Tverrveien. Poorly signposted, so good map or Satnav needed.
Also beware of major long term roadworks & diversions in Bergen city itself, so leave plenty of time if heading to the ferry.
Site is gravel car park with many arrivals/departures and vehicles crammed into seemingly impossible spaces - 6" between vehicles not unusual.
Now 200 NOK per night + 50 NOK for hookup - at top end of rates in most Norwegian sites.
Site can take 60+ vehicles, so with only 2 WCs, 2 showers, & 1 washbasin for gents (ladies similar) facilities are cramped & inadequate. Toilet emptying not nice - 4" pipe attached to sewage system located in the open air.
Staff apparently offhand, but possibly lack of English to blame.
Located in dismal industrial area.
Saving grace is easy 10-15 min walk into city.

June 2010.
Large building now removed with more space for MHs after resurfacing.
The same toilets and still very poor!
Owner lives on site and is very helpful.
The site was full but no boats now so no generators and fairly quiet.

The 15 min walk into Bergen makes up for the failings.

NKK 170 plus 30 for hook up.

Stayed here last week. Very handy for central Bergen but toilets inadequate for number of vans. Only two toilets in male side of portakabin type building nothing to dry hands. Also very noisy at night with loud music and boat generators. Price 190NOK/night.

Stayed here for 1 night after arriving on DFDS Ferry and Two nights before departing for hom. We were the only ones there on each occasion and we felt very safe as the residents from the Appartments look onto the dock. In addition the owners work in the building during the day. If you have satellite dish, you may find it dificult to get a signal unless you park near the waters edge. Owner very helpful, we were there in December07 and January08. Water had frozen, burting large brass vavle but he found a way to sort it for us. Number 9 bus from top of the bridge will take you into Bergen.
