Called in here as we have used it numerous times over the years. However this will be our last visit. The main motorhome area has been reduced to increase car parking next to the aire overlooking the yacht club.

Parking has now risen to 13 Euros per 24 hour period but the machine will now take credit cards. Price has risen roughly 300% over the years with no improvement to facilities which is a shame.

Upside of the higher prices was that there were lots of spaces available so I guess motorhomers are staying away.

The price for 24 hours is now 11 (June 2013)
There were no spaces on the main Aire and parking was only available on Ave de Berlin.
Parking at the roadside and charged 11 for the privilege, services charged extra, seems excessive to me and we won't be using the Aires in Le Touquet in future.

Still, great aire and walking distance to town centre or down to beach. Quiet on a night and usual parking in avenue not in main aire. Usually full so get there early

Charges are now (June 2012) - 9.50 for 24 hours. Water 2 for ten minutes. EHU 2 for 2 hours.
Half of the main Aire has been taken over by car parking and only 12 very tightly packed MH spaces remain although there are still MH parking spaces on Ave de Berlin.

Visited Le Touquet yesterday after reading about it here on MHF. Found it quite easily and had a lovely spot looking out over the boats and water. Read the earlier tip here about them checking the tickets and sure enough at approx.9am this morning they came around checking we had all paid our 9euros to get a ticket (for 24 hrs). The machine would only take change, not credit cards, but fortunately we had enough euros on us. Had a lovely bike ride, even though it was cold and wet, and will definitely come back.

Agree with all of Bill_OR comments.(June 2010)
MH Warden certainly checked tickets regularly.
At least 50 MH's at the Aire in July 2010 and full.
Twenty minute walk to nearest Bars and Restaurants in town centre.
All services worked ok.

Stayed here for 3 nights in June 2010 and really liked the place. It's out on it's own, just a few yards from the estuary & beach and with easy access into town.

Note that the directions to the aire have changed as the Route en Corniche is no longer a road! It's now split into a separate pedestrian footpath and cycle path and provides a pleasant way to get to the town from the aire. Instead look for Avenue Jean Bart and drive down this road away from the centre of town and you'll spot one or other of the 2 entrances - off either Avenue Jean Ruet or (I think it was called) Rue de Berlin.

There are forest walks just by the aire so with these and the beach it's a good place to take the dog.

We cycled into Le Touquet a couple of times and also cycled to Etaples, down the estuary and across the bridge. Pleasant little town with a fish market by the river and several restaurants near the market and also in the town square. A very easy ride from the aire - about 5Km each way.

Just to confirm the aire costs 9 Euros/night payable in cash or by credit card (multi language payment machine). Be warned that the parking wardens DO come round occasionally and we saw one motorhome get a ticket.

The 'Aire Service' motorhome point gives 100 litres of water and 55 mins of electricity for 2 euros. Grey water and toilet disposal is free.

We'll happily return here in the future.

Stayed here on 31 March 2010 and agree with Zube. The bourne was not even working either.

Stayed here 19/03/10 - charge is now 9 euros a night which is a big increase from previous 6.50. 24 hour car rally going on so not a quiet night. Very expensive parking place - water and 55 minutes electricity both extra - we won't stay there again.

30.09.09 As stated a nice Aire prior to coming home. Fees as stated from parking meter and the local inspectors visited evening and morning. The whole Aire including the access road was fully utilised.

A very pleasant quiet Aire, close to the beach and marina. When we were there in October 2008 the man who collects fees was replaced by a machine that costs 6.50 for 24 hours. It is still 2 for services from the usual machine and this also gives you 55 minutes of electricity.

There in March 08; nice spot, a little remote - approx 20 mins walk to town Excellent market on Saturday morning in town. We didn't pay anything apart from a fill up of water (actually 2, not 2.50). There is a new machine installed - pay & display - for charges, it's 6.50 for 24 hours, but there were several visits by maintenance people & local police to try & get it going, to no avail! No doubt it'll be working soon. It will take credit cards (visa /MC) as well as coins.

charge for Water is now 2.50 euros which also gives you 55 mins electricity from the one and only borne. Fee collection varies, sometimes evening, sometimes morning and sometimes not at all

I believe this aire to be free out of season. No fee was collected in March 2007. This site has an excellent motorhome service point and i concur with the comments so far.

Excellent alternative "last night in France" stop before catching the ferry back to the UK. Le Touquet has lots of lively restaurants a block or two in from the sea front. There are no restaurants on or by the beach, so walk away from the beach to find plenty.

RVers Endorsement: Easy access and official parking on both sides of a wide and quiet road.
